Description of Business:  Client is a highly specialized healthcare search firm concentrating exclusively in the field of cardiology. Our medical staffing consultants specialize in placing qualified cardiology professionals in thriving heart centers, hospitals, physician groups, academic institutions and private practices nationwide.

Target Audience A:  Cardiologists of all specialties looking for jobs (non-invasive, invasive, interventional, Electrophysiology, Cardiotoracic Surgeons, Peds Cardios).  Includes those practicing as well as those coming out of residency.

Target Audience B: Groups needing cardiologists for their practice or hospital (Hospital/Organization HR staffs, CEOs, Hospital Administrators, and physician assistants).

Strategic Findings:

  • There is significant opportunity to obtain high search engine rankings in the healthcare staffing industry.  The large employment firms have capitalized on Google's ranking system by virtue of large numbers of back links.  Well written content based on carefully selected keywords with a moderate number of back links is expected to achieve rankings that can drive traffic and positive ROI.

Search Optimization Strategy:  The success of a web site in generating qualified traffic is influenced by a variety of factors.  Many of those factors are:

  • Ability to target and profile the audiences the site is attempting to reach.
  • Selecting keywords/phrases to match the target audiences.
  • Writing "content rich" pages for enough keyword phrases to convert search engines that this site is "an expert" site.
